Sewing classes

Two black fabric pouches with green cactus print on a wooden table, with a potted green plant shaped like a rabbit in the background.

Beginner sewing class

Learn the foundations: how to thread your machine, fill bobbins, adjust settings, and switch between presser feet. Move on to fabric and needle basics, how to backstitch and manage tension, seam allowances, finishing edges, and even buttonholes and zippers.

To put it all into practice, you’ll sew your own zippered pouch with a pocket and clean, finished edges!

Class duration: 4 hours
